The main component of our 100% pure organic tea tree essential oil comes from the plant Melaleuca Alternifolia.

Extraction: This organic essential oil is obtained from the leaves of Melaleuca Alternifolia through steam distillation. The process preserves the plant’s natural aromatic compounds.

Organic Tea Tree Oil – How to Use

In a diffuser:
Add 3–5 drops of organic tea tree oil to the diffuser.

As a skin and massage oil:
Mix 3–6 drops of organic tea tree oil with 50 ml of carrier oil, e.g. almond or nut oil.

As a bath additive:
Add 5–10 drops of organic tea tree oil to 4 tablespoons of cream or milk and pour into the bathwater.

Blends well with:
Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon.

The 100% pure organic tea tree essential oil is obtained from the leaves and branches of the tea tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) through steam distillation.

The plant is organically cultivated. The oil is 100% natural and pure. The yield from steam distillation is approximately 6%.

Steam distillation is a gentle separation process used to extract and purify low-volatility plant compounds such as essential oils. The process uses steam to release the aromatic compounds from the plant while preserving the oil’s natural properties.

The Plant – Melaleuca Alternifolia

The Australian tea tree is native to the Australian states of New South Wales and Queensland.

The Australian tea tree grows as an evergreen tree or shrub, can reach up to 10 metres in height and is considered very fast-growing.

The trunk has paper-like white bark. The leaves are between 1 and 3.5 cm long, arranged oppositely, lanceolate and range from straight to sickle-shaped.

The white, many-flowered inflorescences, measuring 3 to 5 cm long, appear in spring. The Australian tea tree develops small, cylindrical capsule fruits.
