Organic Lemon Oil – 10 ml
The 100% pure organic lemon essential oil is usually pale yellow to greenish-yellow in colour and has a characteristic lemony, fruity-fresh fragrance.
Its fragrance is zesty, clear and invigorating and is often associated with freshness, lightness and renewed energy.
The 100% pure organic lemon essential oil is sensitive to light and almost insoluble in water. It is extracted from the peels of the Citrus Limon plant.
Extraction: This organic essential oil is cold-pressed from the peels of lemons from the Citrus Limon plant. The process preserves the fruit’s fresh, natural fragrance character.

Organic Lemon Oil – How to Use
In a diffuser:
Add 3–5 drops of organic lemon oil to the diffuser.
As a skin and massage oil:
Mix 6–8 drops of organic lemon oil with 50 ml of carrier oil, e.g. almond or nut oil.
As a bath additive:
Add 10–15 drops of organic lemon oil to 4 tablespoons of cream or milk and pour into the bathwater.
Blends well with:
Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint and Lemongrass.

Production & Extraction
Unlike many other essential oils, 100% pure organic lemon essential oil is not obtained through steam distillation.
Instead, the peels of organic lemons are cold-pressed because the essential lemon oil is contained in numerous tiny pockets within the fruit peel.
During cold pressing, the peels of citrus fruits are mechanically pressed—without intense heat or chemical solvents. This particularly gentle process largely preserves the fruit’s natural fragrance profile with its fresh, vibrant aromatic compounds.
Cold Pressing
This method is primarily used for citrus oils such as lemon, orange, bergamot and grapefruit.
The result is a 100% pure essential oil with an intense, authentic fragrance that preserves the fruit’s characteristic freshness.
Bottling
Essential oils are filled into light-protective amber glass bottles with a precision dropper. This protects the oil from light and allows accurate dispensing.
The Plant – Citrus Limon
Lemon trees grow up to 6 metres tall. They have firm, oval leaves, and the flowers emerge from the leaf axils.
The flowers are white or pink. The branches are hard and grey and bear thorns. The ideal location is stony ground in full sun.
Extreme cold as well as excessive heat can cause lemon trees to react sensitively.
The size of the fruit depends not only on the variety, but above all on the climate and location. Commercially, lemons are sorted by size and sold in quality grades.
The mother of all lemons is Citrus Limon. It has a particularly thick peel and is considered the origin of many juice lemons available on the market today.
It is also the original source of candied citron peel. However, growers have adapted the original variety to the climatic conditions of the respective cultivation regions and bred suitable trees.
Some growers focus on high yields, while others prefer particularly juicy lemons. Still others concentrate on lemons with an especially thick white pith beneath the peel.
The reason is that many of the lemon’s bioflavonoids are found in this white inner layer.
