Organic Peppermint Oil – 10 ml
The 100% pure organic peppermint essential oil is a colourless to yellowish-green oil with a strong, cool and characteristically minty fragrance.
Its fragrance is fresh, cooling and intense and is often associated with clarity, alertness and invigorating energy.
The main component of 100% pure organic peppermint essential oil is menthol. Menthone, menthyl acetate, menthofuran, pulegone, limonene, caryophyllene isomers and pinene isomers are present in lower concentrations.
Extraction: This organic essential oil is obtained from the fresh leaves of Mentha Piperita through steam distillation. The process preserves the plant’s natural aromatic compounds.

Organic Peppermint Oil – How to Use
In a diffuser:
Add 1–3 drops of organic peppermint oil to the diffuser.
As a skin and massage oil:
Mix 3–6 drops of organic peppermint oil with 50 ml of carrier oil, e.g. almond or nut oil.
As a bath additive:
Add 3–5 drops of organic peppermint oil to 4 tablespoons of cream or milk and pour into the bathwater.
Blends well with:
Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon.

Production & Extraction
The 100% pure organic peppermint essential oil is obtained through steam distillation of the fresh or slightly dried peppermint herb (Mentha Piperita).
The plant is organically cultivated. The oil is 100% natural and pure. The yield from steam distillation is approximately between 0.1% and 1.0%.
Steam distillation is a gentle separation process used to extract and purify low-volatility plant compounds such as essential oils. The process uses steam to release the aromatic compounds from the plant while preserving the oil’s natural properties.
Bottling
Essential oils are filled into light-protective amber glass bottles with a precision dropper. This protects the oil from light and allows accurate dispensing.
The Plant – Mentha Piperita
The peppermint species (Mentha Piperita) belongs to the mint genus (Mentha) in the subfamily Nepetoideae within the mint family (Lamiaceae).
Wild relatives of peppermint are found throughout Europe. Peppermint itself, however, is a cultivated plant.
It is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows up to 90 cm tall and has a stem with a square cross-section.
The pointed, stalked leaves are arranged oppositely, range from narrowly ovate to lanceolate and have serrated edges. When crushed, the leaves release a characteristically fresh and minty fragrance.
The violet to pink flowers grow on stalks in the axils of the bracts and form what are known as false spikes. The flowering period is between July and September.
